Nestled in a pocket of the Blue Ridge Mountains, two hours away from any major city, Asheville, N.C., might be assumed to lack culture and polish. Not so. On any given Friday night, you might stumble upon a street-corner bluegrass band, an art gallery opening, a festival (if you're lucky, the Mountain Dance and Folk Festival), and maybe even a mime. "Life is never dull here," says Sheila Murphy, who retired to Asheville in 2003 with her husband, Dennis, after moving 31 times (he worked in the oil business). "You can do things for free, for a nominal fee, or a donation, and see all kinds of plays, shows, and music should you desire..."

Road Construction continues on the mountain! Since the last update, grading has been completed on Labras and Alastar, and significant construction has taken place on Shire. Surveying and centerline staking are underway on Cian Dr. and Shire Extension.

Some recent items of interest:

A release detailing the progress made by our developer, Keith Vinson, at Seven Falls and Queens Gap was picked up by PRWeb and is now appearing on a number of online news outlets. PRWeb also reported on the opening of the new Welcome Center on I-40.

An article appearing in the Daily Courier provided interesting perspective on the correlation between increases in construction activity and prospect interest at Queens Gap.

Recent national and regional reports are increasingly optimistic. With the Federal Reserve signaling that economic conditions are leveling and the state of North Carolina picked as a Top State for Real Estate Recovery, indications of a change in conditions and attitudes are increasing in frequency and positivity.

Seven Falls has a very unique practice area called the practice campus. It is a sixty acre area that contains nine championship quality green and bunker complexes that can be used to create innumerable shot and hole choices. You can play any shot, from any lie, in any wind, at any angle.
